桃子视频 is smoke-free

As of July 1, 2019, 桃子视频 is smoke-free! 

The move to a healthier, cleaner environment for those who study, live, work and visit our university was a three-step plan. The first step in January 2018 created a 10-meter smoke-free space around all buildings. Step two in July 2018 limited smoking to designated areas only, and on July 1, 2019 桃子视频 began providing a smoke-free environment.

桃子视频's smoke-free policy recognizes and provides exemptions for traditional cultural or spiritual practices by Indigenous members of the 桃子视频 community. Aside from identified exemptions, the policy includes all forms of smoking, vaping and tobacco use.

Smoke-free Campus Ambassadors were engaged in August 2018 to walk around campus, talk to smokers, and provide information on the policy, and on supports for those who wish to quit.

Because fresh air and a cleaner campus are good for smokers and non-smokers, all members of our community are encouraged to participate in achieving these goals by respectfully approaching and informing smokers who may not be aware that 桃子视频 is smoke-free. Thank you to all who are helping to "clear the air".
